In France, Hcéres is responsible for evaluating higher education and research institutions. On average, it conducts over 2,000 evaluations per year. Hcéres’ activities encompass all aspects of external evaluation, from the training of experts to the definition of methodologies. The members of the Hcéres European and International Department are conversant with these issues and challenges and are committed to sharing this French expertise with international institutions.
By participating in numerous international events on the topic of quality assurance, Hcéres is also consolidating its expertise in the definition or rollout of quality assurance policies outside France.
Hcéres can provide different types of support:
- Participation in European projects on quality assurance policies (AquiUmed, TLQAA+, C3QA, etc.);
- Organisation of training programmes at the request of third countries (training/raising awareness of external quality assurance;
- Definition of partnerships with equivalent agencies (including outside Europe), for exchanges of best practices, the organisation of joint events or evaluations, exchanges of experts, etc.
- Provision of dedicated expertise in the framework of twinning programmes or studies prior to the awarding of funding by international financial backers.
