Artificial intelligence

Hcéres regulates the use of artificial intelligence in its evaluation work through a charter intended for its experts. This charter permits the use of AI to assist with certain tasks whilst safeguarding the independence of the expert assessment, the confidentiality of information and human accountability. Under no circumstances may AI replace evaluative judgement.

Whistleblowing and incident reporting system

The whistleblowing system allows confidential and good-faith reporting of incidents that may constitute a violation of legal or ethical rules and that have occurred or are likely to occur at Hcéres. This approach aims to promote transparency and trust within Hcéres' activities.

Gender diversity

In accordance with the agreement of November 30, 2018, which sets out the commitments of public employers regarding professional equality between women and men, several measures have been put in place at Hcéres: a multi-year action plan, two equality officers, and a reporting unit.

Ethics at Hcéres

In accordance with Article L. 124-2 of the General Civil Service Code, Hcéres has appointed an ethics officer. Pascal Aimé, honorary inspector general of education, sport, and research, was appointed to this position on July 1, 2023. The ethics officer is responsible for providing staff with any advice they may need to comply with their ethical obligations and principles.
