Networks and partnerships

The Europe and International Department plays an active role in international cooperation networks, and develops strategic relationships with stakeholders in the higher education and research sectors.

European networks

 

 

 

 

 

European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education

The ENQA plays a major role in the development of quality assurance in all signatory states of the Bologna Process.

Hcéres has been a member of ENQA since 2010 and its membership was renewed in 2022 for five years following an external evaluation. Since 2023, Hcéres has co-chaired an ENQA working group on the evaluation of research along with the Swedish agency UKÄ.

 

 

 

European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education

Hcéres has been listed in the European register since 2010 and its membership was renewed in 2022 for five years. The European register lists the agencies whose procedures and practices comply with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). Hcéres also helped to create the database of reports published by European quality assurance agencies in EQAR (DEQAR CONNECT). 

 

 

Bologna Follow-up Group

Hcéres has been involved in Thematic Peer Group C on Quality Assurance since 2018 and in the sub-group dedicated to quality assurance in European universities since 2022.

 

The European Consortium for Higher Accreditation in Higher Education

Hcéres has been a member since 2015 and contributed, in particular, to the development of the quality of internationalisation (CeQuint).

  

Network of French speaking quality assurance agencies

Fraq-Sup is an informal network of agencies with the aim of fostering exchanges of best practices and collaboration between French-speaking agencies. Hcéres is a founding member (2014).

    

Global Academic Integrity Network

This network provides a space for exchanges on the fight against organisations supplying illegal services in higher education (fake degrees, plagiarism, etc.). Hcéres has been a member since its creation in 2022.

Hcéres regularly works with major international partners to develop a culture of quality assurance and contribute to the development of new agencies as part of internationally funded projects. Hcéres currently has signed agreements with:

Hcéres regularly signs agreements with foreign agencies to exchange quality assurance best practices, organise joint events, exchange experts and assist in the development of evaluation standards and methodologies.
