Appointment of Joëlle Alnot to head the OFIS

Joëlle Alnot has a PhD in Psychology (1999) and an accreditation to direct research (2004). She specialises in resilience and, after working as a clinical psychologist from 1980 to 2000, is a Professor of Clinical and Pathological Psychology at the Université de Lorraine. 

Joëlle has numerous teaching and scientific responsibilities at the university, including overseeing the bachelor's degree in psychology (2003-2006) and directing the INTERPSY research unit (2011-2018). Designated as an expert by Hcéres, she took part in the evaluation of four research units between 2013 and 2018. 

Joëlle’s career and scientific commitment have made her an expert in the field of research integrity. In particular, in her INTERPSY research unit she has implemented a policy that aims at guaranteeing research integrity in human and social sciences. In the design and running of interdisciplinary research projects¹, she allocates a central role to the dialogue between science and society and to the principle of socially responsible research. Since 2016, she has offered a course at the Stanislas Doctoral School, open to all PhD students at the Université de Lorraine, on reflective practice and research integrity. 

As head of the OFIS², a department of Hcéres, Joëlle Alnot will contribute to drawing up the strategy in the field of research integrity. Her job will include overseeing the national observatory on implementation of the research integrity charter, collaborating in running the network of Research Integrity Officers in institutions, rolling out awareness programmes in the scientific community and contributing the research integrity aspects of standards for Hcéres evaluation departments and the production of their reports.
